Southampton Summer Junior Centre

Cruise ships, beautiful parks, home of Lewis School!

Southampton is a commercial centre and university city on the south coast, and is internationally famous for sailing, cruise ships and the Titanic. It is one of the greenest cities in England, has a well-known football team and, with a population of 250,000, is neither too big nor too small. Southampton is also the hometown of the Lewis School.

Our centre is based at Lewis School and is conveniently located just 2 minutes from the main shopping area and bus stops. The centre is homestay only.

Classic Summer

An exciting mix of fun challenging lessons and a full
activity programme.

Staying with a host offers a more immersive experience of the local language and culture, and many students remain in contact with their hosts long after the summer. Junior students share a room, with the option to be placed with someone of the same or a different nationality, according to preference.

Travel to the junior centre is by public bus; students are provided with a bus pass, and our staff accompany them to the bus stop after lessons or activities each day.

Please note that the recommended minimum age for homestay students in Southampton is 13.

Additional Fees
Enrolment Fee: A one-off fee of £65 applies to all courses
Special diets in homestay: £30 per week for students requiring a halal, vegan, coeliac, nut-free or lactose-free diet.
Insurance: We strongly recommend that all students have comprehensive insurance to cover accidents or emergencies. We can arrange insurance through Howden. Prices are subject to change. For more details, visit our
