Hello! I’m Alistair, the owner and Director of the Lewis School of English. The school was established by Mr Lewis in 1976 and I took over from him in 1994. So I’ve had the privilege of meeting many thousands of students since then – many smiling faces and happy memories!
I started my career as an English Language teacher and quickly became very passionate about language learning. This culminated in a Masters degree in second language acquisition.
My core responsibility is to ensure that we create the best possible conditions for learning to take place – that you all feel comfortable and relaxed in our learning environment. Your welfare and safety are our top priority.
