LingoClip is an excellent app for anyone learning English, especially if you enjoy music. It lets you practice your English by listening to song videos and filling in the missing words, which a really fun and engaging way to improve your listening skills and vocabulary.
One of the best things about LingoClip is that it offers different game modes to help you learn, as well as different difficulty levels. At beginner level, you about 10% of the words are missing. This goes up to 25% at intermediate level, 50% at advanced level and 100%(!) at expert level. There are three different game modes – you can select multiple choice answers, type your answer, or just sing along in karaoke mode. What’s really nice is that the video pauses so that you can enter your answer. If you get stuck, you can always skip to the next word, but be warned – you’ll lose points! Get a high score and you may get on the leaderboard!
There’s a huge database of songs available and you can search by artist, song title or genre. You can also use the app to practise languages other than English.
