Social Activities Diary – Autumn 2021

Lewis School isn’t all about study! Here’s a quick look at some of the trips, parties and other fun events from the last few months.

September

September was sunny, sunny, sunny! We had an amazing trip to the Isle of Wight, where we went on a ferry, an open-top bus, a chairlift above the cliffs and a boat ride to see the Needles (a famous rock formation which you can see in the photo below). The sunshine also meant perfect weather for barbecue parties and table tennis!

October

There’s no doubt what was the highlight of our October programme – the Halloween party. Lots of you joined for a great evening of games, pumpkin carving, fancy dress and yes, another barbecue! Our games night was proving popular too!

November

In November, we went to one of England’s most beautiful cities (Bath), had an archery lesson and enjoyed a firework display on Bonfire Night. Our foodie event continued with an English breakfast cooked on our patio and (yes, you guessed it!) a barbecue night!

December

The fun continued into December with a trip to Bournemouth for some ice skating and a paddle in the sea (yes, really!). We explored the German Christmas markets in Southampton and Bournemouth and of course decorated the Lewis School for Christmas!
