Well done to all the students on our English & Theatre course!
On this 2-week programme at our Winchester Junior Centre, students develop their skills in singing, dancing and acting, while working towards a performance of a popular musical. This year’s students performed an adaptation of Disney’s The Lion King, and we’re proud to present some of the highlights.
The programme is led by a drama professional and our students invariably find it rewarding and fun. Theatre is a brilliant way of improving your English – by adopting an identity, learning lines and practising how to deliver them effectively, it develops your confidence with the language, as well as your team-working and communication skills. Putting on a performance with friends from around the world is an experience you’ll never forget!
The course is open to students of all levels of English, and has an age range of 11-17. Next summer’s courses run from 30 June – 14 July 2024 and 14-28 July 2024.
