English & IELTS is ideal summer course for junior students who will be going on to study at university either at home or in an English-speaking country.

Through a combination of General English and IELTS lessons, you will both develop your confidence in communicating in English, and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for the IELTS exam.
Our academic team have many years’ experience in delivering IELTS courses and each year many of our students go on to study at university in the UK and other English-speaking countries.
Lessons are enjoyable and fast-paced, and are designed to build your confidence with spoken English.
Topics and language points change on a weekly basis, meaning you can start and finish your course any week. Classwork also links with trips and other cultural activities on your programme.
Our course is for students aged 11-17, and takes place at our Southampton Summer Junior Centre from 7 July to 4 August 2019. Our summer centre is based at Solent University.
