TEACHER
Hello! I’m Kathryn and I come from the north of England which is which is why I say ‘bath’ not ‘barth’! I was an electronic engineer for 30 years, and I particularly enjoyed helping my employees develop their careers. I decided it was time to do something different and rewarding in other ways and trained as an English teacher at the Lewis School. I love interacting with people from different cultures and by helping them improve their English, hopefully it enables them to enjoy more opportunities in life as I have been lucky to have.
I have been learning Nepali for 4 years and Spanish for a year so I know the frustrations and challenges of language learning and I hope that helps me to show patience and understanding. I love travelling, hiking and being in the mountains, but when I’m at home as well as teaching English, I run, play the violin and enjoy gardening.
