TEACHER
Hello! I’m Chris and I grew up in Romsey, a small market town near Southampton.
I first taught English as a volunteer in north Thailand in 2011, where I stayed with an isolated hill tribe and taught in a local school. It was an extremely rewarding experience and I decided from that moment on that language teaching would be the career for me.
Before joining the Lewis School in 2022 I lived in Germany for eight years, where I taught a variety of specialised English courses for several language schools and companies in Munich, including Google and Siemens. I started teaching group and individual online courses in 2020.
When I’m not teaching, I very much enjoy playing acoustic guitar, reading, watching films and documentaries, and walking my dog in scenic areas like the New Forest. I genuinely enjoy learning about other countries and cultures, and equally love answering questions about Britain’s culture and history. If you have a question, feel free to ask me!
