CertTESOL is a Level 5 initial qualification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and is recognised worldwide. It’s a popular choice for those embarking on a career in TEFL but it’s equally useful for those with experience in teaching other subjects, or those looking to consolidate their existing English language teaching skills.
Our course is part-time CertTESOL (TEFL), so you can fit around your work and family commitments. It provides a solid foundation, equipping you with essential knowledge and highly practical skills to set you on your way in your English language teaching career. You’ll get 130 hours of contact time and 6 hours of observed teaching practice. Input sessions take place online, and you can choose to do your teaching practice online or face-to-face at our school in Southampton.
