Lewis School of English comprises various activities all with their own individual identity and united under the same professional umbrella, linking common educational aims and supporting young and adult students along their learning journey.  On this web site you will find details of our Adult school and our all-year-round Junior Group operation in Southampton, three Summer Junior Centres in different locations, Theatre Express,  Teacher Training and School Integration programmes. (NB: Teacher training and Theatre Express can also come to you and be delivered overseas)

Established in 1976, our main school is located in the centre of Southampton, a dynamic university city on the south coast of England, just 75 minutes from London. We occupy four attractive 18th century townhouses and are situated opposite a beautiful park and next to Solent University.

With big, beautiful parks, Titanic history, Premier League football and two universities, Southampton is a great place to live and study. Our school is right in the centre, opposite a park and just 2 minutes from the main shopping area. London is only 75 minutes by train, and you can easily reach Stonehenge, Oxford, Bath, Isle of Wight, New Forest and many more of England’s treasures. Our busy social activity programme will help you discover the local area and our city of 250,000.
