Get creative this summer and make friends from around the world too!
By joining our Theatre Camp or Art Camp at Ringwood Waldorf School, not only will you develop your creative skills in a fun and rewarding way, but also you’ll have the chance to make friends from across the globe. Both programmes are open to both UK and international students, and during afternoon and evening activities, you will have the chance to mix with even more students from our English language programme.
The camps run from Monday to Friday, with theatre/art sessions in the morning, activities in the afternoon and two evening events per week. On Saturdays there is an optional trip too, for an additional fee. So, what are you waiting for? Come and join the fun!

Write and perform in your own show!
Taught by performing arts professionals, your sessions will include musical composition, storytelling, singing, stage combat, dancing, mime and acting for the stage. Working from various stimuli you will discover and create characters, plot lines and plays. As a team you will select your preferred show that will showcase your individual skills and strengths as a group. You will then be led towards your performance through rehearsals of blocking, playing to audience, characterisation, performance techniques and direction. We are confident that this will be an experience you will never forget!

Work towards an exhibition
At our Art Camp, you’ll create your own personal art storybook as you explore decisive moments in art history, choosing works from the different ages. You’ll follow great art and artists from the time of cave paintings to the 21st century, learn about the techniques they used, and work in different media to discover their qualities and have fun experimenting. Taught by professional art tutors, your sessions will include drawing, painting and printing. You’ll be guided throughout the process as you produce a book to showcase your unfolding journey with the arts, and work as a team towards an exhibition. All abilities welcome – no prior art knowledge or skills required!
